F. and A. are a couple of mixed culture : he is from Madagascar, she is french. Been living in France for a long time, their common project is to capitalize on a large land they inherited as family legacy.

The brief was to identify the opportunities by analyzing the market and draft a proposal for the best suited real estate development with the right profit versus risk combo. The second phase was to collaboratively work on a creative concept that is relevant to the targeted audience of the project.

Feasibility Study

Ivana’s expertise was required for a feasibility study. F. and A had to make a decision on which investment had the greatest potential. Their project manager conducted a market research, scanning the rental and sale price points in the area.  We worked closely with partners realtors to forecast the possibilities offered by this land. Our analysis led us to either sell the bare land, focus on selling premium houses, or sell building projects worth 400 000 euros and beyond.

The direction taken was toward a 5 house very private residence, intended for sale.

Architect match and Interior Design

Their dream was to magnify the local argil bricks – inspired by traditional malagasy homes – while keeping very clean lines and open spaces. Ivana introduced them to Padparadja Architecture, where Michelangelo Zasy, the lead architect at the firm, has a passion for the marriage of local materials and modern aesthetics. With his international experience, we could have not found a better architect suited for the challenge.
